Location - About Gisborne
Gisborne's sunny reputation shines far wider than its international claim to fame as the first city in the world to greet the sun each day. The city with sun, sand and surf, beautifully balanced by rural reality, boasts a quality of life that is the envy of many. Gisborne's beaches, parks, playgrounds and seasonal activities make for some great attractions. Forests and mountains, rivers and lakes, valleys and hills… the further inland you travel, the more beautiful the scenery - majestic yet tranquil. When it comes to business, Gisborne is rich with opportunity. The relatively low overheads of a provincial centre, together with the benefits of modern communications, are increasingly attracting niche market businesses.
